Employee Satisfaction Survey

Identify points for improvement with an Employee Satisfaction Survey

Employee satisfaction surveys are designed to help you find out if employees feel valued and happy at your organisation.

The data gathered in them helps you collect feedback and identify areas of improvement. By solving employees’ pain points, you help them become more productive as well as less likely to leave your organisation.

Key Tips for Conducting This Survey

  1. Figure out your parameters.

Determine what type of data you want to collect, which employees or departments you want to survey, how many respondents you have and what you’d consider representative, and so on.

  2. Create the questionnaire.

It may help to talk to your managers about what to ask here. Most surveys of this type mix quantitative and qualitative data. They also ask queries about things like whether or not employees feel as though they are treated fairly at the workplace, if supervisors are easy to reach and communicate with, and so on.

  3. Select the mode of data collection and implement it.

Once you have the questions, you have to determine how to ask them. Would you like to do it via phone, face-to-face, email, or as part of an online survey?

  4. Collect and analyse the data.

Numeric analysis, statistics, and pattern identification may be used at this point. The goal is to make sense of the data in ways that can help you improve the organisation and raise
    employee satisfaction.
